IBC Tote Tanks, UN & FDA Approved

Also known as an Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC), these tanks meet UN standards UN31HA1/Y for transportation specifications. They have the capacity of several 55-gal. drums, yet uses up to 25% less floor space. Secured to a galvanized steel pallet, they are easy to maneuver with a forklift or pallet jack. Can be stacked two high when full and four high when empty. These tanks are made of FDA-compliant polyethylene and are protected by a rigid tubular galvanized steel cage. Tanks come standard with a 6" top opening with threaded cap and TPE gasket, a 2" NPS fill opening, and a drain outlet that has a 2" NPS valve and a dust cap. Maximum temperature allowed is 150° F. Color is translucent white. IBC Tanks are recommended for use in applications where it is critical to ship and store materials in the same container. Can be used for either hazardous or nonhazardous liquids. HDPE plastic tank has a UV-blocking additive for extended sunlight exposure resistance. |
